Language of Opportunity contrasts the immigrant experience of Indian families in the US with the aspirations of migrant families in urban India to discover how language is inextricably woven into our identity. Blending together personal narrative, archival footage, and intimate observations of families, it explores issues of colonialism, immigration, and assimilation to dissect the role of language diversity in the formation and pursuit of a more tolerant society.
